Hi, welcome to Catherine Malcolm Interiors. I'm Mary Catherine and I love home. How I've lived has evolved over the years, and the resources I've used to design them has too. From boot-strapped spaces with furniture from Craigslist and homemade art, to enlisting professional interior decorators, I've been fortunate to have a variety of experiences in the design process. As you can imagine, some results were better than others, but home is personal and you learn a long the way.

 

Whether it was my dollhouse, childhood bedroom, dorm room, an apartment shared with a roommate, a townhouse or detached single-family home, I love making space personal. ​​

 

After over a decade long career in corporate real estate and my most recent stint at home raising our two boys, I'm following my passion for interiors into motherhood and sharing what I've learned with you.

I want to take the intimidation out of hiring an interior designer. We offer a no judgement zone and can help you focus your dollars on meaningful solutions, offering suggestions from budget retailers and second hand stores to high-end local and trade-only options. It's all about the mix.

Named after my mother (Mary Catherine Malcolm) who uses her home as a canvas and my great grandmother (Katherine, known as Kit) who was as practical as they come, we aim to create a home that delights.
